Throughout the holiday season, you’ve (hopefully) collected many email addresses of new and potential customers. You’ve probably also exhausted yourself throughout the process. So if the holiday frenzy leaves you fresh out of email ideas, here are some post-holiday ideas that you might want to consider.
Run, Rudolph Run
On the 10th day of Christmas my true love gave to me…. Email Engagement
Now’s the time to run, Rudolph run and deliver those email campaigns! Let’s look at some email campaign ideas to increase engagement after the holidays:
Best of 2018 — Highlight your 2018 top-selling products and product reviews. This could easily be made into an email series by focusing on your best products by category, ie: rings, watches, necklaces, bracelets etc.
Most Requested — If you had some items that were highly requested, you can use this category as an email campaign. People tend to want what is trendy at the moment. If others see your most requested items, they just might follow suit.
“Get what you really wanted” campaign — We’ve all received that gift that will inevitably be returned. Here’s your chance to offer up a discount an incentive for customers to purchase that one thing still on their list that Santa didn’t put under the tree.
Boxing Day is December 26th — Canadians, we didn’t forget about you! While not as big as Black Friday and Cyber Monday in terms of revenue growth, Boxing Day is still an important holiday for retailers in Canada, and it’s a great opportunity to continue driving sales after Christmas.
Revisit your welcome email series — the holidays bring new customers and new email subscribers and the post-holiday is a good time to revisit your welcome email series. Remind customers of the benefits of your brand, highlight your various products, and encourage them to follow you on social media.
