On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…. 12 Days of Campaigns.
A holiday campaign is just what Santa ordered, so get ready to put on your holiday innovation caps and start creating. A campaign can be anything from a holiday marketing video, holiday ads or something that will keep your followers coming back each day like a 12 Days of Christmas campaign.
Keep in mind that creating a full holiday campaign doesn’t happen overnight, so the key is planning ahead of time so you’re ready on all aspects of the campaign. Here are a few tips to get you started:
A 12 Days of Christmas campaign can be anything you want it to be. A new product highlight each day. A new sales item each day. A giveaway each day or at the end of the 12 days. Something that will create excitement and anticipation. You want to create a buzz within your social media community.
Whatever your campaign revolves around, pick the 12 items in advance.
Choose the days that you will post each item.
Create graphics for the campaign to share on all your social media sites.
Promote your campaign 2-3 weeks in advance to build a buzz.
Send out emails to your subscribers (customers) and let them know about the campaign as well as inviting them to “like” your social media pages.
Once your campaign begins, remember to regularly engage with your followers and update each of your social media platforms throughout the campaign!
