An important aspect of having a GREAT social media presence is with professional posts and covers.
There are a lot of programs that help you take your pages to the next level, but when it comes to free designs, we love working with Canva. It’s a great tool for creating customized posts and images with hundreds of templates to choose from. Let’s get started:
Facebook Templates
First, you’ll need to create a username on Canva, and then you can begin creating. Start by clicking the Create a design button on the left-hand side to open up template choices. If you scroll down, you’ll see many templates from Social Media Posts to Marketing Materials. For the purpose of an example, we’ll choose Facebook Post.
Click on the Facebook Post Template. This will open up your Facebook Template, which is the exact measurement needed for a Fb post.
- Choose a Template. You’ll notice that templates range from FREE to paid, so if you want to remain on the free path, choose a FREE template. You can also choose to design your template from scratch, using the Background and Uploads icons.
- Add Custom Text and Images. Here’s where you can turn the post into what you want it to be! Add text, images, your store info… etc. 
- Download. Once your post is ready, click Download on the top bar. Choose the type of file you’d like (PNG or JPEG) and click Download. 
- Post to Facebook. Canva gives you the option to post directly to Facebook or you can save your downloaded image and post it whenever you’re ready. 
The sky’s the limit with Canva. You can create Facebook posts, apps, covers, events, headers, ads and more! Get ready to up your social media game and start creating Facebook masterpieces!
